Effective October 5, 2026. This policy applies to tvheads.com. To contact the operator about privacy, use our privacy request form.
Information you provide
A newsletter signup stores your email address, signup time, consent record and subscription status. A contact message stores your name, email, subject, message and submission time. Please provide only the information needed for your request. We use these records to maintain the newsletter list and respond to enquiries.
Website and email tracking
Our first-party tracking service may process IP address, browser information, site identifier and a visit, email-open or unsubscribe event. Newsletter links can include encoded recipient/campaign identifiers or a hash of your email address. These are pseudonymous identifiers, not anonymous information. An email-open event may be triggered by a security scanner or image proxy rather than a person reading an email.
Most website pages load the tracking script automatically. The unsubscribe page does not load that script until you press the confirmation button; the email-open endpoint records the open event server-side. Browser blocking tools can affect tracking. The service does not itself set an advertising cookie.
Cookies and storage
Forms use a first-party session cookie to protect against forged submissions. We store form records privately on the server. Server logs and short-lived, hashed rate-limit records help prevent abuse. Fonts and article photographs are hosted locally; following an external source link takes you to that organisation's privacy practices.
Purposes and sharing
We use submitted information for the purpose described beside the form, operate and protect the website, process subscription preferences and understand newsletter interactions. Hosting providers and the mailing service used by the operator may process necessary information on our behalf. We do not sell form records. Information may also be disclosed when required by a valid legal obligation.
Retention
Active subscriber information is kept while subscribed. When a matching local unsubscribe request is processed, the local email address is removed and a hashed suppression identifier is retained to respect the preference. Contact messages older than one year are deleted during subsequent form activity. Rate-limit records expire after one hour. Tracking records and server logs are administered separately by the website operator; request their retention details through the contact form.
Your choices and requests
Use the personalized unsubscribe link in your email to leave a mailing list without typing your email address. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your submitted records through Contact. We may need proportionate verification before changing records. Depending on your location, you may have rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent or complain to your local data protection authority.
Advertising
No Google AdSense advertisements are active at launch. If Google ads are enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalise ads using that browsing information. You can manage personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings and learn about industry choices at YourAdChoices. We will update disclosures and provide the applicable consent mechanism before enabling advertising cookies.
Children and changes
Our newsletter and contact forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If a child has submitted information, contact us to request deletion. The effective date changes when this policy is updated.
